Welkom police arrest men for possession of Mandrax, other drugs and cash
Members of the Welkom anti-gang unit followed up on information about drugs in Phomolong, Hennenman on Sunday 21 April. They arrested a 38-year-old man for possession of drugs after they found 67 Mandrax tablets, as well as 7 half tablets and 19 quarter tablets. In addition, 20 packets of methamphetamine were found with him. At another house, they arrested a 37-year-old man with 12 Mandrax tablets, as well as cash, in his possession.
